Returns Policy - Website Only Purchases
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order. You are entitled to your choice of a replacement or full refund if the item purchased is faulty. This entitlement covers both full price and discounted merchandise. In this scenario, we will also cover your return postage cost using our reply paid, Australia Post service.
For change of mind reasons, including selecting wrong sizes or colours, you may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. You can choose to receive a full refund or replacement. Please note that the cost of the postage / return is your responsibility. Change of mind returns exclude discounted or on sale merchandise. Our returns policy does not cover wear and tear or any damage caused by misuse.
All returns must be accompanied with a proof of purchase or receipt clearly showing your name, contact details, date of the order and contents of the order.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We strongly recommend that any returns are sent via a registered post service as we will not be responsible for any lost items.
Returns Policy - Direct Purchases with Buckle | 1922 Retailers
We only accept returns on purchases made via this website. If you have purchased our merchandise from another retailer, please return to them with your proof of purchase. It is important to note that different retailers have different returns policies.
Returns Policy - Trade Customers
If you are a stockist or trade customer and wish to advise us of any quality or manufacturing faults, please contact our head office on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +61 2 9557 5688 and request a “returns authority number” prior to sending back any goods to us. You are entitled to return goods to us and request a credit if the item you bought does not match the description or has faults caused by manufacturing or the material used. It does not cover wear and tear or any damage caused by misuse.
We offer free shipping Australia wide for orders over $49.
Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days using Australia Post parcel service (during busier periods, orders may take up to 3 business days). This service includes a tracking number. Should the value of the order be below this value, shipping will be charged at AUD$7.95.
Orders bound for New Zealand incur a flat fee of AUD$9.95.
Orders bound for other destinations incur a flat fee of AUD$14.95.
It is important to note that any duties or government charges imposed by your country are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Clip Replacement Service
We offer a free clip replacement service on all Buckle | 1922 braces. We only provide this service on braces that are manufactured by us - note that our braces have a signature style, so we can always pick our braces from others.
If you wish to use this service, please Contact Us first. You will be provided with detailed instructions on what to do next. You will be asked to return the braces to us (at your cost) and provide us with a return, pre-paid postage bag so that we can return your braces back to you. Once we receive your braces, clip replacement usually takes between 5-10 working days (plus postage time). For hygiene reasons, please ensure that braces are clean and odourless.
You are also welcome to drop off your braces at our production facility. Please bare in mind that we work with very tight production schedules so you may need to come back at a later date to pick them up.
